New Federal Courthouse
From Urban Austin
Located in downtown Austin, the new, $65 million, 7-story courthouse will occupy a full city block directly west of Republic Square Park. The building is being designed by Atlanta-based Mack Scoggin Merrill Elam Architects in collaboration with Austin's Page Southerland Page, Architectural Engineers Collaborative, Center for Maximum Potential Building Systems. The project is being built to achieve a LEED Silver certification level for sustainable and green design.
