After seven years in the making, the 5-story, ultra-luxury condominium project, on the site of the old Treehouse Restaurant, is finally moving forward.

At the southwest corner of Barton Springs Rd. and Dawson St., the “1155 Barton Springs” project is being developed by 1155 Partners, which are Elisabeth & Steffen Waltz; Rick Archer and Madison Smith, founding principals of Overland Partners Architects Inc.; and Richard Adkisson, founder and managing director of real estate advisory firm Greenbrier Associates.

Plans for the 126,000 SF building consist of 24 ultra-luxury units, ranging from 1,762 to 4,334 SF and priced from $1 million.
